IS THERE ANY INFORMATION ON HOW QUICKLY THE GLUCOSINOLATES ARE BIOTRANSFORMED BY THE LIVER.
ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

There is evidence that glucosinolates metabolized (producing dithiocarbamates in the urine) within a matter of hours in both animal and human clinical studies. I'll cite the Kensler Qidong study, Effects of glucosinolate-rich broccoli sprouts on urinary levels of aflatoxin-DNA adducts and phenanthrene tetraols in a randomized clinical trial in He Zuo township, Qidong, People's Republic of China. Do you know if any of the suppliers of SGS or similar products, are planning on using a delivery system that would bypass the liver, such as liposome technology.  It seems that it should allow for a much greater effect with the same amount of dosage.
