Title: Phase 2 response induction
Post by: Nikidita on October 25, 2006, 05:46:00 PM
Okay, here's my next question!
At one of the lectures I attended, there was a chart that showed Phase 2 Response Induction by a Variety of Phytochemicals and sulforaphane was right at the top (ahead of pinostrobin, zeaxanthin, quercitin, curcumin and carotenoids and chlorophyllin, B-12 and chlorophyll.)
It was based on 2 Fahey studies and a Khachick study ...
I don't understand the bottom where it shows the X-axis title as
"Potency -- Amount Required for CD (microMoles)"

What is CD?  And can you tell me approximately what tiny amount of sulforaphane induced what, please?
 :)
