Title: BROCCOLI BIOTRANSFORMATION Post by: Christianzetterberg on October 23, 2006, 10:21:37 PM IS THERE ANY INFORMATION ON HOW QUICKLY THE GLUCOSINOLATES ARE BIOTRANSFORMED BY THE LIVER.
ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED CZ Title: Broccoli biotransformation Post by: kas on October 27, 2006, 03:05:18 PM There is evidence that glucosinolates metabolized (producing dithiocarbamates in the urine) within a matter of hours in both animal and human clinical studies. I'll cite the Kensler Qidong study, Effects of glucosinolate-rich broccoli sprouts on urinary levels of aflatoxin-DNA adducts and phenanthrene tetraols in a randomized clinical trial in He Zuo township, Qidong, People's Republic of China. Cancer Epidemiol Biomarkers Prev. 2005 Nov;14(11 Pt 1):2605-13.
Title: BROCCOLI SUPPLEMENTATION Post by: Christianzetterberg on October 30, 2006, 10:19:54 PM Do you know if any of the suppliers of SGS or similar products, are planning on using a delivery system that would bypass the liver, such as liposome technology. It seems that it should allow for a much greater effect with the same amount of dosage.
