Hi,
i’ve recently read that Sulphorafane Glucosinolate is only converted into sulphorafane isothiocyanate in the presence of the myrosinase enzyme. I regularly take SGS supplements and i wonder how you manage to extract the SGS from seeds keeping he myrosinase enzyme active.
Thanks a lot
Cristian
Actually, the myrosinase is inactivated during the extraction process, but the SGS is broken down to sulforaphane by gut microflora.
