A study from the Center for Childhood Cancer, Columbus Children’s Research Institute and Department of Pediatrics, College of Medicine, Columbus, Ohio demonstrates that sulforaphane can inhibit stress-associated hormone norepinephrine. This hormone can increase the cell proliferation and IL-6 levels of human pancreatic duct epithelial cells, which may lead to cancer.
