Broccoli Sprout Extract May Help Protect Skin from UV Radiation
In a study reported in this week’s issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, USA, a team of Johns Hopkins scientists, lead by Dr. Paul Talalay, applied a broccoli sprout extract to human volunteers. Skin redness and inflammation were noticeably reduced in extract-treated skin.
