Sulforaphane and the blood-brain barrier
In the Journal of Neuroscience, Zhao et al. report that sulforaphane may help to maintain the integrity of the blood-brain barrier following injury. This animal study indicated that sulforaphane increased activity of NF-E2-related factor-2 (Nrf2).
